40-DAY LENTEN CHALLENGE

Bilang pakikiisa sa diwa ng Kuwaresma, gumawa ng isang programa ang LASAC - Alay Kapwa ng Arsidiyosesis ng Lipa na siyang magsisilbing ating gabay sa pagtugon sa panawagan ng Kuwaresma: magsisi at sa Ebanghelyo ay manalig. Ang 40-Day Challenge ay siyang mag-aanyaya at magpapaalala sa ating lahat na sa bawat araw ng panahon ng Kuwaresma, tayo ay tinatawagang maglaan ng isang simpleng gawaing sakripisyo. Sa pagtupad mo ng sakripisyong ito, binibigyan ka ng pagkakataong maging instrumento naman sa iba na gumawa din ng kanilang sariling sakripisyo.

Ganun din naman, maaari kang magpakuha ng litrato na nagpapakitang napagtagumpayan mo ang sakripisyong inilaan mo at ipadala ang nasabing litrato sa FB page ng LASAC. Ito ay magsisilbing inspirasyon sa lahat. Isang sakripisyo sa bawat isang araw ng Kuwaresma. Isang sakripisyo mo para sa ikabubuti ng lahat.

PROJECT BASIC

With the aim to strengthen the preparedness, response and resilience of the faithful of the Archdiocese in emergencies and calamities, partnership with First Gen/Gas Power Corporation (FGPC) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) begun. As their first move, a two-day trainers’ training for disaster preparedness was conducted last June 26-27 at Batangas City Convention Center. Training for the clergy was held on July 18, 2018 at LAFORCE. The two trainings were attended by 178 participants comprising of lay leaders, seminarian and priests. It was intended to train leaders who will share their knowledge to their respective parishes. Medical First Aid and Basic Fire Prevention were the first modules discussed which were followed by practical applications.
